Announcing availability of Limited Edition Elto Cub Dealer Display Stands
Graphically Reproduced in 1/3rd Scale. There will be only 45 stands produced!
Each stand will be uniquely numbered and packaged in a form-fitting box.
Elto Cub .5hp Outboard Motors were sold between 1939 and 1941.
I have several new products that I will announce here by the middle of August 2008. Here are a few:
1/8th SCALE ELTO RUDDERTWIN STAND - Cast in metal and finished in black. They look exactly like the original dealer stand ! Only 100 will be made and I am now taking orders now !
1914 WATERMAN w/SOLID BRONZE TANK - Reproduced castings from the original 1/8th scale Waterman, with solid Bronze tanks. Only 20 will be made and the first 4 are sold. Each will be unique as I am making these look old.
1914 SWEET - Based on the original 1/8th scale Waterman castings, my new Sweet models are 24K gold plated, instead of brass. They will be nicely boxed and will include a stand. This motor on page 20 in Peter Hunn's book "Beautiful Outboards." 30 sets of castings are done, but plating is on hold while I work on the new Cub (see below).
1939 ELTO CUB WITH STAND - I announced these at the Clayton Antique Boat show last week and showed my prototype parts. Highly detailed ! The Cubs are 1/4th scale and 100 of them will be painted look like factory originals. 30 special limited edition version Cubs will be made with many chrome plated parts, to look like the shined up old motors in shows today. The Elto Mate will follow later this year in quarter scale too ...
Over time I hope to grow a priority buyers list. I will keep the quantities low so collectors can enjoy their KidCole models and appreciate their rarity too!
